    Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Actively lead and direct teams, projects, networks and /or platforms in the field of data science and modelling in the support of biosimilar development
  • Understand and meet individual program and customer needs and ensure all data and modelling activities are aligned with overall biosimilar development process.
  • Initiate, lead and influence new data science related development programs.
  • Address complex R&D issues across line functions within biosimilar development. Evaluate and implement new scientific data and modelling techniques and technologies.
  • Assess licensing opportunities. Collaborate with and provide guidance to external partners.
  • Drive the biosimilar technical development data science longterm strategic plan and its implementation. Ensure current and future needs are fully met, unit projects are assigned, adequately resourced, delivered on time and in full compliance.
  • Provide comprehensive advice as a goto person on a wide range of issues related to data science techniques and processes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • World leading Data Science and Modelling expertise
  • Experience in drug development through regulatory approval and commercialization
  • Data science and modelling leadership
  • Strategic thinking
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization

This position is available in 3 different locations: Germany (Holzkirchen), Austria, Slovenia.

Desirable Requirements:


  • Min 10 years of experience in statistics and data modelling in Pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of creativity, problem solving and productivity in projects.
  • Thorough understanding of development processes in BioTD.
  • Demonstrated successful experience with working in interdisciplinary and crosscultural teams.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant SOP, GLP, GMP and regulations and policies.
