In order to support the team, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Working Student (d/f/m) in the area of Digital & Analytics for Technical Data:
We look forward to you supporting us as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week.

You will be part of the Technical Data team which delivers maintenance documentation for every aircraft from entry into service onwards and maintains it along the life cycle.

Location: Hamburg, onsite
Start: July 2024
Duration: 12 months

Definition working student:

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies.

This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises.

A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your location:

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon.

Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

Create and validate use cases for tool / workflow improvements
Implement robot process automation (RPA) tools in existing workflows
Support & improve analytics solutions
Contribute to deployment of ML / AI solutions

Desired skills and qualifications:

Registered student in engineering, computer science, mathematics or similar with strong focus on IT / Digital
Strong development / coding skills
Know how in Python, Google AppScript, SQL
Know how in cloud technologies, preferably AWS or GCP is a plus
Know how in ML / AI technologies is a strong plus
English on negotiation level, German is a plus
