  • The GEA Digital Hub Düsseldorf is dedicated to digitalizing GEA's customer interface, creating new digital products and services, and establishing innovative business models. Working collaboratively with digital units across all divisions, the Hub offers GEAwide platforms, services, and methods to support these efforts. As a corporate startup, the GEA Digital Hub operates with an agile approach, driving digital transformation throughout the company. We are seeking for a skilled Chapter Leader (f/m/d) who will lead the Chapter Business Transformation and actively drive GEA in migrating its business into the digital age. In addition to building and managing an amazing team of motivated people, this includes driving the development of new business models such as EquipmentasaService and other asaService models. You will coordinate with the product owners the further expansion of GEA's customer portal which will be developed by our Portal/APP Manufacturing Team and establish the GEA Portal as an integral part of our customer relationship. This includes an actively push for the country rollout and usage. We work closely with our customers and the individual divisions so that we always have an ear to our internal and external customers. Through digitalization, we strive together with the customer to achieve the highest availability and productivity of our machines and systems with the smallest ecological footprint.

Your responsibilities and tasks:


  • Leading and forming the Chapter Business Transformation, including Budgeting, Roadmap planning and stakeholder alignments
  • Developing new business models and establish them as an integral part in the GEA Product portfolio. Define and enable the Rollout of the EquipmentasaService concept across the business and regions
  • Make the GEA Portal a success by establishing it as an integral part of our customer relationship: Definition of Customer Centric customer portal with cross divisional apps
  • Ensure the pipeline is filled for the SW-Implementation Team prioritize business Apps to be integrated into the Portal
  • Ensure Rollout of Customer Portal to achieve targeted user numbers

Your profile and qualifications:


  • Master's degree in business administration, economics, engineering, IT or similar
  • Experience in a similar leading role in Business Development
  • First leadership experience
  • Experience in working with agile methods, scrum, design thinking
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with empathy to navigate both corporate and more technical environments
  • High social competence and outstanding communication skills
  • High level of selfmotivation to achieve goals and the drive to achieve success together as a team
  • Affinity for digital topics & projects
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
