Francisca Bastos

Dedicated and experienced veterinary master finalist bringing forth skill and advanced knowledge in molecular diagnostics, pharmacovigilance, pharmacology and epidemiology. Adept in serving as a helpful and supportive team player with extensive knowledge of nature and medical sciences. My past working experiences shaped me into a goal oriented and self-motivated person, with solid time managementand competences and excellent comunication skills. Experienced in working collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Before my studies, I was a professional rider attending various competitions and teaching younger professionals. My international experience as a rider and mentor enabled me to hone my planning, time management, and teamwork competencies. Moreover, it taught me how to efficiently communicate with and convey complex information to people from the most diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, my previous employment opportunities made me a responsible, professional, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual. 

I have finished my clinical internship at the Freie-Universität-Berlin and am on the verge of completing my Master's degree in Veterinary Sciences. 

I gather extensive knowledge of nature and medical sciences with excellent communication skills, which I have developed throughout my career. In the course of my studies, I have created and implemented HACCP plans, conducted hazard analyses, and acquired knowledge in a variety of fields, such as pharmacology, pharmacovigilance, epidemiology and molecular biology. 

Several internships, namely in animal health and disease control, as well as in equine medicine exposed me to highly professional and demanding environments, shaped me into a stress resistant, resilient  personality, feeling comfortable in performing at the highest level.
