Konouz Saeed

A passionate and empathetic junior digital product designer with knack for UX design. My diverse experience in field research and project management in social design has taught me to think critically and analytically, and to tackle problems with confidence and an open mind. Curious by nature, I am a fast learner with strong communication skills. I love new discoveries and thrive in team environments that incorporate multiple perspectives. Ultimately, I believe in design that is intuitive and accessible for all.

I possess 8 years of experience in social design, engaging in hands-on projects across Mexico, the US, Germany, and Pakistan addressing complex social problems. This practical experience has honed my project management, teamwork, field research, critical thinking, and analytical skills, enabling me to handle diverse responsibilities and deliver successful outcomes.

Originally from Pakistan I have ample experience in volunteer work. Most recently, my passion for education and critical thinking led me to contribute as an Educator at Kiran Foundation and Zindagi Trust in Karachi. I conducted workshops on "Critical Thinking through Art" for art teachers and students, strengthening my communication skills while assessing public education curriculums.

In March 2023 I successfully completed a 15 week Digital Product Design bootcamp at WBS Coding School. This equipped me with a strong foundation in user-centred design principles and methodologies. Proficient in industry-standard tools like Figma and Sketch, I have successfully completed various design projects in both individual and group settings, even presenting my final project to an audience of 100+ WBS community members.

In my recent projects, I designed a conceptual app to support individuals in managing work-related stress and an interactive gallery companion app to enhance younger viewers' art gallery experiences. These projects allowed me to demonstrate my ability to solve complex design problems and iterate based on valuable user feedback.
