About me

I'm looking for work in post-merger integration, strategic implementation, business transformation, change management

I’m from Sydney, Australia (with a Spanish Passport) and I’ve spent the last 5 years in Frankfurt, Germany supporting the merger of a leading Engineering company through strategic post-merger implementation and business transformation.

Relevant technology experience: 

  • I spent most of my career in technology and have a passion for emerging trends. I was fortunate to be an early developer of 3 business mobile apps in 2010 when the smartphone came out in 2008. 
  • I was involved with the 2014 IBM Watson AI partnership with Rabobank. The pilot program ‘GeoFarmers’ enabled farmers to easily collect and share geospatial data on weather, farm conditions including soil and crop types, and monitor the adoption of techniques to make farms more productive and resilient to climate change. 
  • In 2020, I developed a global SharePoint Sales Knowledge Management portal to support ~3000 sales & resellers in getting critical product and pricing information to their customers faster. The MVP was developed in 6 weeks to create advocacy and trust, then formally developed over the following months with a strong adoption rate. 
  • I’ve implemented several enterprise technologies in the past 2 years with strong business outcomes (PlanView Product Lifecycle Management, Adobe Cloud, HubSpot Marketing Automation) & provided training


Project Management experience: 

  • Proven track record of successful delivery of multiple global business programs/projects with personal accountability for delivering on time and cost and ensuring program and project benefits are realised
  • I’ve led 4 successful technology transformations at HBK whilst navigating multiple emergent, socio-political and structural complexities e.g example covid being an emergent complexity and socio-political challenges of managing a team of 11 people in 5 countries with different cultures. Strong team working skills across matrix client, supplier, and geographically dispersed virtual teams
  • Ability to lead and mentor large teams, most recently 11 direct reports. 
  • Convincing communication and interpersonal skills at Executive level downwards (including negotiation and conflict management)
  • An early adopter of Agile (2010), Training in Strategic Program Management with Oxford University (97% mark), Agile SCRUM, and Project Management certified


Customer experience: 

  • Throughout my career, I’ve advocated for a ‘customer first’ approach to product and marketing development starting in 2004 with a Cisco partnership to launch WIFI telephony. 
  • In my current company, I was responsible for setting up the voice of customer interviews and obtaining 33 customers of which 31 agreed to be part of a future Customer Advisory Board (CAB). The insights I obtained were used to improve customer experience and efficiencies within the business & further approval for a CAB was granted by the Executives. 
  • Most recently, I worked with global customers to debunk product hypotheses for a Next Generation Physical Testing platform that is about to be launched in the market. 
  • In addition, I drove prototype design and testing with global customers for a new website (Germany, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Denmark, and Netherlands). These interactions have set this program up for success and driven value 
  • I’ve worked on Agency side with Tier 1 clients: Microsoft, Avaya, Fujitsu UK & Germany.

  • Responsible for the operational implementation of the integration strategy (13 workstreams implemented 6 months ahead of schedule) and developed YoY Company Strategy with the Strategy team.
  • Identification and realisation of synergy potentials together with internal department heads 
  • Responsible for restructuring and cost reduction of headcount in Product Management, Marketing & Strategy department and consolidating technologies to reduce cost. 
  • Introduced Customer Experience Management to HBK (Voice of customer interviews, Customer Advisory boards, Product Development testing, Marketing website experience design)   
  • Executed a rapid PLC technology transformation for global Product Managers (PMs) resulting in a 10-year forecast and improved product development 
  • Developed and trained 160 PMs and Marketing in SAFe PLC process resulting in improved stage gates delivery
  • Responsible for Change Management communication, advocacy, adoption, training, and transformation 
  • Led a team on a discovery to analyse a declining business unit and implemented corrective actions resulting in improved turnover, margin, and customer satisfaction
  • Development of Sales Enablement technology platform for ~3000 employees and distributors resulting in improved communication and sales growth (MVP executed in 6 weeks to create virality and adoption for the rest of the organisation)
  • Rapid project implementation of legacy Marketing Automation technology and HBK website merging 6 websites (70K pages) onto Adobe CMS resulting in improved customer satisfaction, customer intimacy, and brand awareness
  • The driver of Power BI dashboards for Product forecasting and Marketing growth visibility reporting to executives
  • Conducted various customer interviews for Product Development and Marketing website + recommendations for a Customer Advisory Board
  • Development of Marketing Operational Strategy
  • Successfully led 11 direct reports across 5 countries
