Über Moritz Loos:
I’m the Founder and CEO of 2Sync, a Potsdam-based XR startup focused on auto-adaptive Mixed Reality and spatial computing. My background is in computer science and XR research, with over a decade of hands-on experience in building real-time, immersive systems across research and industry.
At 2Sync, we develop technology that allows XR experiences to automatically adapt to any physical space – similar to responsive design on the web, but for the real world. Our work spans developer tools, games, and applied XR projects in entertainment, education, and culture.
I enjoy working hands-on with small, interdisciplinary teams, exploring new interaction paradigms, and turning complex spatial problems into usable products.
Erfahrung
I am Founder & CEO of 2Sync, where I lead the development of auto-adaptive Mixed Reality and spatial computing technologies. My work combines deep technical expertise in XR, real-time 3D and interaction design with product strategy and team leadership.
Before founding 2Sync, I gained extensive experience in research and industry, including XR and AR development at Mercedes-Benz, research projects at the Hasso Plattner Institute, and international research work in New Zealand and Singapore. Across these roles, I focused on immersive systems, spatial interaction, and scalable XR experiences.
I have been working in the XR field for over ten years, translating research into practical products and leading interdisciplinary teams to build innovative, real-world applications.
Ausbildung
Master of Science in Computer Science with a strong focus on Virtual and Mixed Reality, spatial interaction, and real-time systems. My academic work includes a research-driven master’s thesis on adaptive passive haptics in VR, which later became the technological foundation of 2Sync.
I also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, focusing on interactive systems, hand and finger tracking, and immersive technologies. My academic path was complemented by international research stays and practical projects in XR and human-computer interaction.
