Rajashri Suresh Kumar

I am Rajashri, a Spatial Data Analyst, currently residing in Hamburg, Germany. I am a masters graduate in Informatics from Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, with specialization in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

As a person who is deeply passionate about environmental sustainability, I constantly strive to bridge my knowledge in GIS and environmental management. Building technical solutions that constribute towards sustainability, in domains such as energy, climate, hydrology, soil and agriculture, is my career objective. 

I joined Datasee.AI as a GIS Analyst. My role consisted of construction progress monitoring of solar sites around the globe, and periodical maintenance of commissioned solar-farms using aerial thermography. I also had the opportunity to work on agricultural projects involving crop health detection and leveraged photogrammetry software for image stitching processes. 

I enjoy developing custom Arc tools using ArcPy in Esri ArcGIS to automate analysis tasks. During my prior experience, I proposed and designed an Arc tool for automatic solar-field construction management. The tool automatically measures the positioning of solar-panel mounting poles to detect anomalies. This time-consuming process was earlier done manually. The proposed Arc tool effectively resulted in a significant reduction in maintenance costs and approximately 90 percent reduction in analysis time.
