Sanjeevi kamatchirajan

I am Sanjeevi Kamatchirajan, from India. I am living in Straubing and currently pursuing master's in Chemical Biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich. I also have 3 years of work experience in a equipment manufacturing company.

I worked as a as a Research Trainee (R&D) in Mystical Biotech Pvt. Ltd. As an Intern, I did several studies on formulation of Nutraceutical products using Probiotics and Prebiotics, those project works made my internship fascinating and I got a chance to explore the microbial world, where probiotics were widely used in Food manufacturing industries for their ability to help our body maintain a healthy community of microorganisms. On February 2021, I was offered a job in Bangalore Biotech Labs Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore as a Bioprocess Trainee, where I worked on my Bachelor thesis major project which involves designing of a sustainable pilot scale seed fermentor along with installation and operational (SIP/CIP) qualification. This role improved my technical skills and introduced me to the latest technologies and developments in Bio-pharmaceutical and bioprocess engineering. My experience of 2+ years has changed my perspective and enabled me to use my knowledge, and analytical abilities, and implement my ideas on real world projects. The most challenging project I worked on titled, “Designing and Qualification of 50L fermentor and 110L inactivation vessel for the production of Cholerae vaccine” for Sanofi Healthcare, India. This project deals with the production of the purified O- specific polysaccharide(OSP) component of Vibrio cholerae O1 E1 strain conjugated to a recombinant tetanus toxoid heavy chain fragment.

I did my bachelors in Biotechnology in Anna University, India and currently doing my mastrers in Chemical biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich, Straubing.
