Seyyed Mehdi Mirimani

I am a Senior Research and Development Engineer (PHD in Electric Machines). My expertise is Design and prototyping of high performance electric motors, including Magnetic, Thermal, Multi-physics FEM simulations, and management of the project. Main focus is on PMSM and SRM motors for various applications:

- High voltage and low voltage e-drives

-Air compressor for electric vehicle's braking system;

- HVAC compressor for cabin climate control;

- Oil and coolant electric pumps;

- fault tolerant drives for sensitive applications (vehicle EHPS - EPS);

- Other kinds of vehicle auxiliaries.

In summery I have a lot of experiences on Machine Design, Finite Element Method Applications and Multi Physics (Magnetic, Electric, and Thermal), Power electronics, Motor Drives and control systems, Electromagnetic Systems Condition Monitoring, and High Voltage Devices which are evidenced by track record of publications.
