Business Development Representative / Sales Executive (d/f/m) with the mission to be a key driver of revenue by actively sourcing new business - with a focus on enterprise prospects in FMCG, F&B and Retail.


At aimpower, you will focus on new logo acquisition and have high impact on our new business revenue growth while, building on your previous experiences, and establising yourself as an industry-leading expert in AI and marketing technology.


Your role will involve working closely with our C-Level management and Head of Sales in DACH, as well as the product and marketing leads.

In this role you will:

New MRR Generation:Responsible for acquiring new clients and recurring revenue by closing deals with enterprise and medium-sized businesses in the DACH region.

Sales Cycle Management:Oversee the entire sales cycle from client prospecting and qualification to deal initiation and closure, prioritizing the pre-qualified pipeline.

Solution Presentation and Customer Engagement:Present solutions and engage in initial conversations with a focus on Consumer Insights and Shopper Marketing, utilizing effective qualification and sales techniques.

Active Prospecting:Independently manage your book of business and execute outreach techniques, including participating in industry events and utilizing social media to expand your pipeline.

Opportunity Creation:Identify new use-cases to generate business opportunities.

Lead Qualification:Conduct a thorough discovery process to understand key metrics for progressing qualified leads.

Sales Planning:Formulate detailed sales plans to achieve short to long-term goals and quotas.

Collaborative Approach:Work in tandem with Sales and other departments to analyze and refine existing processes.

Consultative Selling:Act as a consultant to prospects, advising on ROI and addressing their challenges and needs.

Decision Support:Guide prospects through their evaluation process, influencing decision-making and assisting in building compelling business cases.

CRM and Data Management:Maintain accurate data in CRM, monitor sales progress, forecast effectively, and make data-driven decisions throughout the sales funnel.


About you:


  • Multiyears of practical Sales Experience (+3 years): Demonstrated success in outbound sales roles, such as Sales Executive, Account Executive, or Senior SDR, especially in SaaS sales or dynamic startup/scaleup environments.
  • Hunter Mentality: A natural at developing innovative prospecting strategies and enjoys the challenge of hunting for new business opportunities.

Market Expertise:
Strong understanding of SaaS sales, marketing, marketing automation, and/or market research. Familiarity with sales methodologies like BANT and SPICED is beneficial.

  • Target Driven: Focused and determined to exceed set targets.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Embraces an entrepreneurial approach in sales strategies and decisionmaking.
  • Digital Proficiency: Highly skilled in digital literacy, embracing digital innovations and technologies.
  • Willingness to learn: Natural curiosity and a strong intrinsic willingness to learn. In our fastmoving and constantly evolving industry, the ability to actively seek out new knowledge and continuously develop your skills is not only desirable, but essential.
  • Language Skills: Native or nearnative proficiency in German (C2 level) and fluency in English, capable of conducting business in both languages. Work permit and permanent residency for Germany
  • A degree in a related field, such as economics, marketing, management or similar qualification
