Hey there, are you an experienced technology expert in the fields of

fieldbuses, ethernet-based communication, wireless technologies, network security/protocols, and are looking to fully utilize your expertise in industrial communication?

Then we are looking for you as a

Senior Technology Expert (f/m/d) for Industrial Communication As a leading company in this field, we are constantly searching for innovative solutions and aiming to take our technologies to the next level.


Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in industrial communication. This includes analyzing and evaluating technology trends in areas such as OPC UA, Profinet, MQTT, Ethernet IP, 5G, and strategically driving innovation
  • Advising and supporting our development team on technically complex questions
  • Evaluating these ideas through Technology Proof of Concepts (TPoCs) and transferring them into business segments in case of success. You will take on the technical leadership of international developer teams
  • Representing Siemens in international standardization committees such as IEEE, with a particular focus on standardization activities in China

What you bring to the table:

  • The base of your profile is a Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar field
  • In addition you bring +5 years of professional experience in industrial communication
  • You have an extensive knowledge and knowhow in fieldbuses, Ethernetbased communication, wireless technologies, network security, and protocols
  • Experience in integrating industrial communication systems into complex automation systems is also part of your profile
  • You are an analytical problem solver and can explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way
  • Furthermore, you have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You are a team player and can work well in an international and interdisciplinary environment
