cloopio is your one-stop-shop for team offsites in Germany. We enable teams to book memorable corporate retreats with just a few clicks. Our hand-picked offsite experiences combine curated accommodations, meeting facilities, food options, activities, and more.

After successfully validating cloopio during a soft launch, the Lufthansa Innovation Hub is now looking for a co-founder that drives the transition towards a successful spin-off.

As co-founder Business, you are fully responsible for the strategy & growth of the company. You drive the founding process, build an outstanding team and own all business & financing aspects of the company.

While the co-founder Operations curates cloopio's portfolio of offsite locations & experiences and leads the customer success organization, you are responsible for brand positioning & demand generation.

Jointly with the co-founder Operations, you drive the overall growth of the business by driving product-market fit, defining the product roadmap, and securing required funding from investors.

With your strong entrepreneurial drive and previous leadership experience in start-ups, you develop this venture into the go-to-platform for offsites in Germany and beyond.

Tasks

You develop the venture into a fullblown travel tech company in close collaboration with LIH
Lead all fundraising activities and investor communications, strongly supported by LIH
Find and develop the best talent
Own the business model including overarching short

- and long-term vision & strategy

Represent the company and maintain trust relationships to all relevant external stakeholders
Own all financial aspects of the company
Actively build and foster a strong organization and shape a growth culture
Drive all demand generation aspects of the company (marketing, business development)
Maximize success by establishing clear targets, suitable metrics and datadriven decision making

Requirements:

Entrepreneur with strong desire to build and grow a travel tech company
Proven track record with direct link to above listed responsibilities, eg as entrepreneur, manager in scaleup, or travel tech veteran
Credible understanding of major digital business models, technologies and the tech ecosystem
Strong business acumen, innovation mindset and handson attitude
Visionary yet able to execute with strong management skills
Excellent communication (verbal and written) as well as strong presentation skills
Fluency in English

Valuable additions:

Previous experience as (co)founder
Outstanding degree in Business / MBA
Previous experience in hospitality industry and/or online travel agencies
