Internship at DI Capital Solutions GmbH, Munich: DI Capital Solutions is currently looking for dedicated and motivated interns to support the investment team in Munich for 3-6 months, starting in February 2023 or later.

DI Capital Solutions GmbH is part of Deutsche Invest Capital Partners, a Munich based multi-asset investment manager (AuM >EUR 4.0bn) operating across four investment verticals: capital solutions, special situations, technology and real estate.

DI Capital Solutions creates and acts on attractive investment opportunities in Europe, in particular in the DACH region. Typical transactions include Corporate Carve-Outs, Leveraged Buy-Outs and Growth Investments.


Areas of expertise / your responsibilities:
− As in integral part of the investment team, supporting the Capital Solutions strategy (focusing on small cap LBOs and growth investments) with the execution of transactions and development of portfolio companies

− Taking part in the identification, evaluation and analysis of potential investment targets

− Carrying out market research for investment decisions

− Researching and analyzing emerging trends to identify potential investment opportunities

− Analyzing and evaluating business plans, financial statements and company performance as well as developing own financial models

− Preparing presentations for internal and external use

− Supporting the team in the management of its investments and portfolio companies


Your profile:

− Enrolled in a top-tier university program in finance or business with an excellent academic record (preferably 5th semester or later).

− Genuine interest in Private Equity investing, especially SME

− Outstanding analytical, mathematical and conceptual skills, e.g., analyzing financial statements or financial models

− Previous internship experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, Big4 or private equity / venture capital

− Ability to work and act independently, and enjoy solving complex problems

− Advanced skills in the use of MS Office (particularly, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

− Team-oriented mindset with a high level of commitment and dedication

− Fluent in German and/or English - Italian or any other European language would be a plus
