Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for defining and implementing sales and marketing strategies for fleet and used cars to increase revenue and profitability.
  • You manage the daytoday operations of the fleet and used car department, including procurement, pricing, sales, and marketing.
  • You shape a successful Account Management for fleet customers ensuring high customer satisfaction through excellent customer service and the development of customerfocused processes and services.
  • You develop and maintain relationships with key customers, such as rental car companies, government agencies, and other fleet customers.
  • You develop business relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers, as well as maintaining and expanding these relationships.
  • You lead a team of employees, including hiring, training, development, and evaluation ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
  • You are part of the sales leadership team reporting to the COO to ensure the overall success of the sales department.
  • You develop and maintain sales metrics and KPIs to monitor departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.

What you bring along

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or above in business, STEM or economics or a comparable degree and at least 6 years experience in automotive industry.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies for used vehicles, managing sales operations and remarketing logistics.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the fleet and used car market, knowledge of electric car market and direct sales is a plus.
  • High affinity and understanding for ecommerce, digitalization and the online customer experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
  • Able to be visionary and think strategically anticipate market developments, innovations as well as challenges, identify business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English. Other European language is a plus as well as (professional or intercultural) experiences with Asia / (e.g. China).
