Working field:


  • Within the faculty, there are excellent opportunities for cooperation with the departments of Operating Systems and Distributed Systems, Software Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering and IT Security and with the Leibniz Institute for Innovative Microelectronics (IHP) in Frankfurt (Oder).
Experience in the acquisition of third-party funding and in the implementation of third-party projects is expected. Research topics should be relevant to the DFG or comparable international research funding agencies.

Other duties result from the requirements set by - 42 Brandenburgisches Hochschulgesetz (Higher Education Act of the State of Brandenburg - BbgHG) in conjunction with - 3 BbgHG.


Requirements:


  • Successful applicants will have their research focus on security in computer networks.
We are looking for a strong research personality with an international track record in additionally at least one of the following-mentioned fields:


  • Network Architecture
  • Intelligent / Adaptive Communication Systems
  • Data Center Networking
  • Cloud Computing
  • Performance evaluation / modeling of networked systems
  • Software-Defined Networking / Network Function Virtualization
  • Internet of Things
  • Mobile Adhoc Networks
