We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic finance team in a rapidly growing online supermarket.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the commercial and marketing teams. Our commercial team includes the functions of supply chain management, pricing, listing as well as procurement.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the commercial and marketing leadership to provide financial insights, analysis, and strategic support to drive informed decision-making.

Your

responsibilities
**- Business Partnering: Serve as the strategic financial advisor to commercial and marketing leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive improvements in sales and gross margin.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Collaborate with the commercial and marketing leadership to develop and analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support effective decisionmaking. Ensure accurate summaries are provided for the WBR and MBRs clearly identifying risks and opportunities.
Cost Control and Optimization: Monitor and analyse relevant costs, identify areas for cost optimization, and collaborate with the commercial and marketing teams to implement efficiency improvements.
Performance Metrics: Track and further develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the product profitability and marketing campaign effectiveness, to optimize spending and maximize return on investment.
Preparation of reports to support monthly and annual closings, and ensuring their correctness and completeness.
Collaboration with accounting, functioning as a bridge between the business and accounting.
A variety of ad hoc admin and processes we're a lean team and have a wide variety of things to do.

Your

experience
**- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.

A minimum of 5 years of working experience, of which at least 3 years proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role in a fastpaced environment.
Strong analytical skills: the ability to understand complex models and deal with large sets of data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and confidently work with departmental leaders.
Ability to work independently and handle concurrent projects and assignments.
Working proficiency in German and English is a must.
Experience in the retail or ecommerce industry is considered a plus.
