Inquiry, evaluation as well as negotiation of offers
Evaluation of technical solutions as well as support of quality assurance
Commercial evaluation of new parts for project purchasing
Allocation of new parts for series production (according to supplier evaluation, quality, adherence to delivery dates as well as costs)
Evaluation and implementation of technical changes
Implementation and tracking of cost reduction as well as quality improvements
Annual price and contract negotiations on international markets
Securing of necessary purchased part capacities
Project support in series production
Support in case of series complaints and insufficient delivery performance, as well as pursuit of remedial actions
Preparation of market analyses and derivation of a commodity strategy
Successfully completed studies as a graduate (industrial) engineer (M/F/d) or comparable
Experience with manufacturing processes of mechanical assemblies
Collaboration with the development, manufacturing and quality departments as well as with our suppliers
Experience in international purchasing
Fluent in written and spoken German and English (further language skills such as Spanish, Italian, French or Chinese advantageous)
Strong cost and quality awareness
High degree of initiative, commitment and solution orientation
Communication and negotiation skills
Willingness to travel at home and abroad
