We are excited as expansion is happening within our HR team in Germany and therefore our search for a motivated

HR Business Partner (M/F/d) for our sites in Bad Iburg and Werther begins


Reporting to the HR Manager Germany, as Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) you will perform a range of duties such as, recruitment & policy implementation, fostering a safety culture, competency and training development, employee relations, regulatory compliance and other HR programs as directed.

As Alco has huge expansion plans recruitment will be high on the agenda for 2024 but when production moves to our Werther site it will be important that you can divide your time effectively between both sites to support HR.


Responsibilities:


A day in the life of our HR Business Partner....

  • We need someone who is digitally savvy and can navigate the world of social media to bring brand awareness to these two brands and ensure that we attract the best talent We will look to use your experience in this area to develop visibility of JBT in the respective Regions in Germany ensuring we have a regular and sustainable presence on social media, targeting grouporiented channels to drive awareness in the market place
  • You will also assist managers with developing our internal talent, working with them to identify high potential employees and to improve the knowledge, skills and behaviours of our employees
  • Experience in labour law issues are key as you will be the go to person for clarification of labour law issues and assist Leaders in the execution of required actions
  • You will also work closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, build morale where needed and helping to increase productivity and retention
  • Obviously there will be the generalist side of HR like create and implement HR policies and procedures according to our JBT standards, where you will coach and counsel employees and managers on these HR policies and procedures
  • We are also looking to introduction a Performance Management System where goals and appraisals will have standard processes for Leaders in supporting them in ensuring our teams are performing well, and developing as they should be
  • JBT undertakes engagement surveys and pulse surveys throughout the year
  • The normal creation of HRrelated reports, statistics, and presentations will be needed where your evaluations of important key figures such as headcount data, sickness rates /absenteeism will be required
  • When an employee leaves JBT we wish for them to have an effective exit interview, where you then provide the department manager and HR Manager with feedback, analysis and recommendations for positive change if required
  • We also required for you to lead on conducting occupational health management interviews and occupational integration management
  • Ultimately we would love to have a smooth running of operational HR processes where continuous optimization is focused on and that you are the driver of the digitalization of our HR system landscape

Qualifications:

What we would like to see on your resume or for you to demonstrate at interview...

  • For you to have completed a university degree with a focus on Human Resources or Psychology or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • That you have several years of professional experience in general HR work
  • Indepth understanding of HR topics such as Performance Management, Training & Development, Employment Relations, Compensation & Benefits
  • The ability to identify process improvements solve problems and resolve roadblocks
  • Adept at thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo, while also fairly evaluating all possible solutions in making decisions
  • Knowledge of local laws and corporate HRrelated compliance matters
  • Hands on experience with HRIS systems and good MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • A high degree of professionalism and independence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills (we would like someone with a handson style of working)
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing or engineering environment would be a bonus...
