Every HVDC solution is tailored and designed based on a project-by-project assessment of the customers' individual requirements, whether it's for connecting offshore wind generation, long distance power transmission, or energy trading between independent networks.


Within this cross-centers and multicultural organization, the
Offshore platform advisor is accountable for the c
ontrol of offshore platform - GE partner(s) or subcontractor(s) of the various projects.

In particular, he is
reference expert in this domain and responsible to develop related knowledge within the team.

He can intervene personally either during Intent To Order and/or Order To Remittance stages for specific topics requiring expert skills.


Essential responsibilities:


  • Support conversion of project contractual documents into plant engineering requirements
  • Support plant engineering planning and cost estimation for the project
  • Develop offshore platform expertise within the plant engineering team
  • Support optimized tools, templates, design books to be used by plant engineers for offshore platform activities
  • Control offshore platform deliverables performed by GE partners or subcontractors
  • Support answers to client, partners & suppliers technical queries related to offshore platform difficult queries
  • Support projects design and gate reviews
  • Support continuous improvement within plant engineering
  • Occasional professional trip required

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Expert knowledge on offshore platform (DNVGL-ST0145)
  • Proficient with CAD tools
  • Strong knowledge on contract and project management, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), or Engineering equipment package (EEP), or subcontracting type for civil or building services
  • Analytical mind, rigorous and commitment
  • Professional English spoken and written, solid German skills
