At the Department of Biology/Chemistry at the University of Osnabrück, the following positions are available as soon as possible

Three Junior group leader positions with a focus on (M/F/d) Molecular/Cellular/Structural Membrane Biology

(Pay Scale
E 14 TV-L, 100%):

The employment is initially for a period of three years with the perspective of a further extension by up to four years.

Responsibilities:

To lead an independent junior research group focused on molecular, cellular and/or structural membrane biology
A contribution to teaching in bachelor's and master's degree programs
An own scientific qualification

Requirements:

A special aptitude for indepth independent scientific work, usually demonstrated by a doctorate of outstanding quality and further research experience during the postdoctoral phase
For one of the three positions: extensive expertise in cryoelectron tomography and FIB milling
Experience in functional or structural analysis of proteins or lipids and in the context of cellular membranes and/or method development in this area
