The following challenges await you:


  • As Head of Cash Management & Intercompany Accounting, you will lead and develop a Cash Management/Intercompany Accounting team within the Shared Services Finance Center in Hanau, Germany, which serves approximately 60 legal entities in Europe and the US.
  • In Cash Management, you will be responsible for national and international payment transactions, as well as national and international bank account management and the execution, settlement and controller of all financial transactions.
  • As part of the intercompany accounting function, you will oversee IC transaction processing, administration of IC reconciliations and payments, administration of the interface to Group Consolidation, administration of related systems and tools globally.
  • You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and developing processes related to the above mentioned area of expertise (e.g. process descriptions, process guidelines, internal controls, KPIs, tools, continuous improvements, innovations).
  • Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with the service levels documented in the service level agreements and legally compliant financial statements in Cash Management and Intercompany Accounting.
  • Continuous development and improvement of processes and assigned personnel is also part of your responsibilities.
  • Likewise, you carry out appropriate risk management and knowledge management.
  • You take measures to ensure a high level of service recipient satisfaction.
  • You actively support the harmonization and standardization of processes and procedures in the various Shared Services Finance Centers within the department.
  • Execution of complex optimization or innovation projects and steering of improvement measures within the area of responsibility.
  • Last but not least, you interact with Corporate Treasury, the consolidation team and partner banks.

Your Profile:


  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a comparable degree with a focus in a relevant area.
  • Several years of professional experience in a relevant position in an international company
  • Advanced crossprocess knowledge in the areas of cash management and intercompany accounting and beyond
  • Overview of best practices regarding systems, processes and procedures in cash management and intercompany accounting
  • Good SAP knowledge in the area of responsibility
  • Ability to manage medium to complex projects
  • Advanced leadership and management skills
  • Advanced stakeholder relations skills, including crosscultural experience
  • Strong service and customer orientation skills
  • Experience with shared services/business services
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in German and English
