About Lumen

The Role:

Assist in creating a face to face facility management presence in the heart of our EMEA office network. Adding value to the overall facilities team. Working as part of a team of 6 to ensure all Lumen Facility needs are met with significant ease.

Engage local vendors and contractors to ensure the local office spaces are fit for purpose and look to improve processes and workplace needs and manage wants.

Work within a varied and fast passed environment to achieve success within the local office and across EMEA.


The Main Responsibilities:


  • Liaise with Building Sponsors and Managers for Facility Management taskings.
  • Manage all correspondence in and out where required for local area and assist with post EMEA wide.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors working with/for Lumen in the local area to assist them in completing any tasks as well as finding local suppliers for any small items needed for the office.
  • Oversee the maintenance of office facilities and equipment to keep everything at 100% working capacity.
  • Purchase office supplies and equipment including COVID PPE and accessories if required
  • Manage the local office team mobile phone estate.
  • Manage Courier requests in and out of the office area.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding process within the Local area.
  • Update compliance documents on all platforms and communicate out where required.
  • Financial responsibilities understand, manage and support EMEA Facility team with invoicing, billing, and raising of payments

Base / Geographical:


  • Primarily based in the Frankfurt office. Supporting EMEA offices where needed.
  • Previous experience with purchasing and facility management preferable.
  • Understanding and commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • German and English language skills required. French or Spanish a plus.
  • Prior work experience in related discipline a plus.
  • Well organized and resourceful.
  • Data management experience with and analytical and strategic mindset.
  • A proven track record of time management, prioritization, and multitasking.
