Purpose of the role:

The Customer Configuration Specialist will assist our customers in becoming successful with our products, since their success is our success They will be part of our Launch Services team within the Customer Success division, which is a dynamic, passionate, hard-working, international team, keen on sharing knowledge and striving to push limits daily, to deliver the best customer experience.

The Customer Configuration Specialist is responsible for setting up the newly signed B2B customers operating in the Hospitality industry. The day-to-day focus will be placed on menu and account configuration.

The CCS will make sure the POS account of the customer will be configured according to their wishes and make sure the accounts are configured well ahead of their go-live date.

Customer Configuration Specialists are not in direct contact with our customers.

They closely work with the Launch Coordinators and Implementation Specialists, who will be responsible for the communication with the customers.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring the successful and timely launch of all customers and accounts they work with
  • Designing and configuring customer menus based on their submitted menu files
  • Creating floor plans, configuring the Back Office
  • Connecting and configuring hardware like printers, Payments Terminals, iPads etc.
  • Troubleshooting any issues that may arise
  • Working closely with Launch Coordinators, Implementation Specialists, the Sales team and the Support team to deliver the best customer experience

  • Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives, even if this means doing things that aren't strictly within the scope of the role.

KPI's:


How they will know they are kicking ass:

  • Monthly targets achieved; configure as many accounts as possible within the least amount of time.
  • Executing menus in the adhered time period
  • Achieve SLAs and deadlines for merchant golive dates
  • Consistently achieve onboarding CSAT targets.

Growth opportunities:

The Hospo Launch Services department consists of three roles; Launch Coordinator, Implementation Specialist and Customer Configuration Specialist. They all work together to get our customers transactional on our platform, each has a different role and speciality.


Launch Coordinator:
Our first point of contact for the customer and internal liaison.


Implementation Specialist:
knows everything about our products and how to set the platform (and thus the customer) up for success.


There is an option to grow in the role and become a senior customer configuration specialist, take on more responsibilities and become the go-to person for your team members.

Another option is to broaden their horizon, growing towards the position of a Launch Coordinator or Implementation Specialist.


Besides this, there are many more departments within Lightspeed where knowledge gained in the Launch department will be an asset.


We expect new joiners to be in the role for at least 12 months before being eligible for another position or a promotion.


Experience:


  • 02 years of experience working with B2B customers, preferably in a solutionsales / technologyrelated environment;
  • Good to very good spoken and written German and English;
  • Excellent command of spreadsheet navigation and management (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets etc)
  • Experience in hospitality is a plus.
