As a CI/HUMINT Planner in Plans and Exercises (PLEX), you use your specialized functional experience and your ability to advise government clients with plans and policy.

Advises IPAS client director and staff on classified, numbered operational plans (OPLANS) and policy relating to HUMINT. One of two principal advisors supporting ongoing contingency operations and classified numbered strategic and operational plans. Consulted and reviewed numerous task orders (TASKORDS), OPLANs. Advised and teamed with client on strategic organizational optimization.


As a CI/HUMINT Planner on our team, you'll help your client understand classified, numbered operational plans (OPLANS) and policy relating to HUMINT.

You will provide support to ongoing contingency operations and numbered strategic and operational plans and consult on task orders (TASKORDS) and OPLANs to help client achieve strategic organizational optimization.

You Have:


  • 10+ years of experience working with DoD components and agencies
  • 5+ years of experience working on with plans and policies at a HQ staff or Combatant Command
  • Knowledge of the Intelligence Community missions, functions, and interrelationships
  • Knowledge of Theaterlevel CI and HUMINT Operations
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with peers and senior leadership
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience providing intelligence support to Plans and Exercises
  • Experience using Intelligence Automated Systems
  • Experience working with allied partners
  • Experience working with DoD Components, MDCOs, and National Agencies
  • Knowledge of DoD HUMINT policy, directives, and doctrine
  • Possession of strong critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills, including writing and briefing skills
  • Graduate of a Command MILDEC Course, or related course

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166, annualized USD).

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
