Project Purchasing (M/F/d):


  • Location: Ratingen, Germany (Headquarters)

Your Tasks:


  • Projectrelated purchasing of components for largescale plant construction
  • Execution of projectspecific inquiry, negotiation and award procedures as well as purchasingrelated contract and claim management
  • Support of the proposal project team (inquiries, preliminary negotiations, letters of intent, preliminary contracts, buyout, etc.)
  • Analysis of international procurement markets and relevant trends (especially LCC)
  • Execution of supplier selection, evaluation and development
  • Close cooperation in an interdisciplinary as well as international team, consisting of representatives of the proposal department, the (technical/commercial) project management and the engineering department

Your Profile:


  • Completed commercial or technical studies or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in the area of international power plant or plant construction
  • Knowledge of current developments in relevant procurement markets
  • Ability to analyze and processoriented way of working
  • High cost awareness, decisiveness and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Intercultural competence and negotiating skills in an international environment
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
