As a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Bank AG, Mercedes-Benz Bank Service Center in Berlin is responsible for the whole commercial business around financial services for Mercedes-Benz vehicles - from smarts to buses.

The French speaking owner of the position stewards self responsible under the business scope of the assigned retail customers.
The aim is to minimize risks, failures and losses by considering and respecting all internal and external requirements.

**You will master these tasks: - Your main task will be the handling of our lawyer portfolio, you will be the first point of contact to law firms and our major internal legal support- Execute after contract termination tasks and decide upon file treatment e.g. debt sale, bailiff or external lawyer treatment
- Negotiate with qualified customers about potential settlements
- Execute daytoday insolvency handling in order to get the funded vehicles back as quickly as possible and to limit risk
- Give direction and followup on outsourced relations e.g. bailiffs and lawyers
- Prepare writeoff files for approval in the local market
- Support credit analysts and give regular feedback to the credit department (incl. post mortem process)
- Support projects relevant to collections
Qualifikationen:
**What you bring to the table: - Degree in French Law or equivalent
- Experience in debt collection and litigation
- Strong experience in negotiating with customers
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Proficient in French (native speaker level)
- Proficient in English
- Other languages are considered as a plus
**- Have 'people skills' and a good understanding of how to deal with lawyers, customers and suppliers in France
- Self reliant way of working
- Ability to build good relations with our customer
- Be structured and work well under pressure
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Communication skills
- Flexibility
- Skillfull in negotiating
- Good self assertion
- Good teamwork skills as reliable
