Your responsibilities:


  • You are responsible for the entire trading process of Aluminium, starting with the search for suppliers/producers to the closing of contracts
  • You support existing customers/suppliers and acquire new customers/suppliers, with the corresponding national and international travel activities as well as deal negotiations
  • In exchange with our international group companies, you conduct market research, market trends and identify new markets for Aluminium
  • You coordinate the interfaces between sales, logistics and finance and are involved in the development of new business areas

Your profile:


  • You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or an apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade (alternatively a bank apprenticeship)
  • You have experience in metal trading and hedging at the London Metal Exchange (LME) and a comprehensive understanding of the macroeconomic, cultural and political environment of the global aluminium market
  • You have an established network with end users and experience in acquiring new customers
  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders: customers, counterparties, senior leaders within our Segment, exchanges, and regulators
  • You are fluent in English, ideally speak another language and are willing to relocate to Germany
