What awaits you?

  • They support the development of a central reporting function as a service provider for Customer Interaction Management and for the BMW Group across all sales levels, i.e. generating reports and insights for markets, channels, corporate initiatives, product lines and other COCs (e.g. ad hoc reports, automated reports, conversion reports, sales funnel reports and management reports).
  • They support the development of a central platform for the automated creation of all required customer reports.
  • On an operational level, you develop global standards with regard to definitions and key performance indicators for customer interaction management. Advising the markets on their implementation in the markets.
  • You work in a motivated and agile team in one of the most innovative areas related to customer interactions.
  • You are responsible for identifying and specifying requirements from the product and from our stakeholders.
  • In doing so, you assume responsibility for the analysis, conception, implementation and introduction of the derived reporting strategy.
  • Implementing the solutions via comprehensible user stories in collaboration with our DevOps provider is part of your job.
  • Actively managing external providers and ensuring their quality of delivery round off your diverse range of tasks.
What should you bring along?

  • University degree in (business) informatics, natural sciences, mathematics, economics or a comparable course of study ideally with a focus on computer science, data analytics or a comparable education.
  • Wellfounded professional experience (3 years) in report engineering.
  • Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS and a high affinity for data and KPIs
  • Consistent solution and customer orientation and a high degree of motivation and resilience.
  • Strong analytical skills and independent way of working (personal initiative).
  • Knowledge of using Office365 and the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, JIRA, etc).
  • Deep Team and communication skills, determination, motivation and affinity to the automotive industry.
  • High intercultural competence and initiative with very good handling / working in an international environment.
  • Fluent English mandatory, German a plus.
