We are looking for an
Regional Airfreight Pricing Gatekeeper DGF Europe based in Bonn or Frankfurt, Germany.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?:

In your role, you will:

Drive competitive pricing from a global perspective, i.e. stay on top of market developments
Analyze customer profitability and shipping profile
Translate and explain Business requirements (RFQ Documents, Contracts, Local Experience, Commercial input) into bid instructions for involved regional and country pricing teams.
Initiate, explore all possibilities uplift & routing options for optimal results
Flag out and estimate the exposures of nonstandard Terms and conditions proposed by the Customers
Drive and support agreed pricing process, data quality and compliance
Guide, support and on ad hoc basis perform global airfreight pricing specialists' activities
Lead final rate negotiation with the customers (including Final Face 2 Face negotiation meeting)
Drive decisions in project/program

Do you have what it takes?:

Essential:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
46 years of experience
Strong knowledge in Airfreight industry and pricing (Selling and Costing structure). Operational knowledge is a plus.
Excellent English language skills are a must (written and oral)
Excellent command of MS Excel
Welldeveloped analytical and conceptual skills
Strong project management and leadership skills
