- Acquisition of aircraft leasing transactions (sale & lease back)
- Lead remarketing activities of pre-owned aircraft out of the existing portfolio
- Negotiation of term sheets (LOIs), purchase, sale, and leasing agreements for new and pre-owned aircraft
- Project manage sale & lease back transactions, aircraft placements and aircraft trades in coordination with internal departments and external specialists
- Monitor current and future market trends to develop market strategies and support decision making
- Support decision making on portfolio optimization for various stakeholders
- Liaise with several GOAL airline customers as key account manager
- Such other tasks or projects as may be assigned by the Head of Sales & Marketing
- Several years of working experience in sales, marketing or project management function in the aviation industry
- Ability to work independently, as team leader as well as part of a team
- Strong people and strategic planning skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to negotiate contractual terms in English language
- Good understanding of economic & technical interdependencies
- Project management skills and ability to work under time pressure

GOAL Aircraft Leasing, a joint venture between KGAL and Lufthansa, is a global aircraft leasing company based in Gruenwald near Munich, Germany.
We are looking for you, a dynamic teammate who has experience in the aviation industry and enjoys being part of an agile and close-knit team of aviation professionals.
With our ambitious growth targets, GOAL will acquire many new aircraft in the coming years and will also be remarketing a number of aircraft out of our existing portfolio. We are therefore looking for a new team member who is liaising with airline customers worldwide for new sale & lease back transaction as well as for placements of pre-owned aircraft.
You will handle aircraft acquisition and remarketing campaigns and lead large volume projects by coordinating a team of internal and external experts, such as commercial, technical, legal, insurance and tax specialists.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You as Director Sales & Marketing will liaise with potential airline customers to source new sale & lease back transactions as well as lead remarketing projects to successfully transition aircraft out of the existing aircraft portfolio.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Excellent communication skills and a general understanding of the commercial aviation market are essential to successfully coordinate complex and large volume projects with internal departments, external advisors and airline customers. After an introduction you should be able to perform the assigned tasks independently.
Travel: Frequent international business travel is required.
Education & Experience: You should hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, economics, engineering or aerospace or eight years related experience, be fluent in English and preferable in German. A minimum work experience of three years in the aviation industry is required (preferably in the aircraft leasing industry).
