We are looking for an
In-House Application Specialist (m/w/d) who you will work closely with our Field Application Specialists, our Commercial Team as well as colleagues from R&D and Operations to conceptualize and to propose solutions which will help our customers to reach their scientific goals & visions.


With all our workstations being one-of-a-kind and specifically designed to address individual customer needs, the role offers the opportunity to actively craft and influence our products and solutions, to become a trusted partner to our customers and to position Revvity as market leading provider of full-workflow automation solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Educate Field Specialist and customers about concepts and solutions we can provide to help our customers reach their goals.
  • Work with Field Specialist and customer to identify the best possible customer solution.
  • Create bestinclass proposals and quotes. Communicate dependencies, risks, and deliverables concisely.
  • Work closely together with R&D and suggest product enhancements and/or improvements.
  • Represent ARS (Automated Robotic Solutions) team in presales process. Support Commercial team and Field Application Specialist when presenting our solution to customers.
  • Fosters active collaboration and positive communication. Challenge the team and all our partners to always exceed customer expectations and to deliver value to internal and external customers.
  • Share your knowledge with team, provide training for Commercial team and Field Application Specialists.

Requirements:


  • Scientific or engineering degree in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment; ideally prior experience with Laboratory Automation, Automated Liquid Handling, Detection Instruments, qPCR/FACS, Imaging and/or other automated laboratory equipment or processes.
  • Excellent customer facing and interpersonal skills, enthusiasm; a proactive personality who likes a challenge, with proven success working on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills: fluent English, German desirable.
