Enterprise Product Owner (EPO), Prospect to Cash
This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:


Prospect to Cash (P2C) is an End-to-End (E2E) within the overall process framework for ADM's enterprise and reports to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

P2C's primary front-end scope are commercial activities for our value-add products.

Key outputs throughout ADM's value chain are including Sweeteners and Starches, Packed Oils, Flavors, Beverages and Health and Wellness, Pet and Feed materials and finished goods.

Next to the sales groups and Pricing activities P2C also supports order fulfillment functions as customer service and execution activities as well as backend enterprise service tasks e.g., customer relevant finance activities and reporting.


It is comprised of six major areas:
Sales Management; Contracts, Price, and Quotes (CPQ); Order Fulfillment; Billing; A/R and Corporate Support.
P2C also has a strong connection with commodity sales business. Many of the value-add products derive from commodities. Some of our sales offices and sites engage in both product lines. Enterprise service activities and partly CPQ and order fulfillment for both areas governs by P2C.

The EPO for P2C Enterprise Service:
Is a full-time role that is part of the business. To ensure business alignment, the Enterprise Product Owner role will report to the Global Process Owner P2C
Serves as the voice of the business and translates business vision into the overall template within 1ADM (ADM's business transformation program), as well as other transformational projects
Has interactions with the P2C process governance (Accountable Executive, Executive Global Process Owner, Sub Process Owners, Process Advisory Group and Subject Matter Experts)
Owns the global template for enterprise services (specifically Billing, A/R and corporate support) within the P2C governance framework, which includes both process and system design
Leverages the governance framework to ensure alignment and translation of business needs and global standard processes. Champions the process and system to the business and participates in process and technology projects and enhancement (NPD) review and prioritization
Ensure process artifacts, including process flows and job guides, are prepared and maintained
Coordinates with Global Solutions Lead (GSL) on technology enablement.
Consults with other E2E Enterprise Product Owners (EPOs) - e.g., Commodity Trading & Risk Management, Record to Report, Master Data Management

1ADM Specifics:
Reinforces the program vision and global template throughout the entire implementation
Drives template to 1ADM releases via the 1ADM Release Product Leads (RPLs), but also incorporates feedback to further build out the global template
Defines goals and priorities for P2C of 1ADM implementation increments (phases), together with scrum team
Partner with Release Product Leads (RPL) and Organization Change Management (OCM) to ensure the business is ready and prepared for change including the training approach and content
Supports 1ADM testing cycles by re-affirming process & system design during bug triage


Job Description (Con't)

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:
Position requires a four-year degree from an accredited college or university or other equivalent business education

10+ years of experience within ADM (or other company within the industry), preferably with global exposure in a finance or risk management role.

Strong understanding of business principles and concepts
An enterprise-wide view of the business and appreciation for strategy, processes, and technologies
Excellent analytical and lateral thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately to ensure a team's success
Strong accountability planning/organization, and teamwork, demonstrates ability to empower teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization. Speaks English fluent, other languages especially Spanish or Portuguese are an advantage
Keen understanding of Sales, Financial reporting and ERP systems is considered a plus
In addition to finance / risk management, Soft Commodity experience is considered an asset
Experience in working in international teams (in person & virtual) and in managing external consultants/software providers is preferable.

However, more favorable location for this position is Decatur, IL, Erlanger, KY, Eppelheim, Germany, Hamburg, Germany, Poznan, Poland or Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Applicants must be willing to travel/co-locate and be flexible in their daily work times as they will be part of a global team.
