Full-time / Temporary 12 months

MEININGER Hotels is looking for a Controller (12 months contract) who will serve as contact for Projects, Development and related CAPEX topics, Asset Management and Management reporting.

THE TASKS

:

Prepare monthly and yearend audits and reports for Expansion and Development
Prepare the CAPEX report and review the Expansion CAPEX per group policy
Develop & prepare Overall Project Cost reconciliation and liaise with Project Team
Reconciles with Accounts Receivable that project invoices are raised according to the contract
Work closely with Asset Management Team in tracking amendments to existing and new leases
Act as the link between Asset Manager and Finance team to ensure rents and ancillaries are paid
Proceed with budget & communicate overspent to Projects & Development for both CAPEX and OPEX
Support the Budget process & communicate overspent
Prepare forecasts and highlight overruns
Provide management with adhoc analysis as the basis for strategic decisions
Support preparation of internal monthend reporting and prepare reports for external parties and yearend reporting
Monitor relevant KPIs and review business performance and overheads to identify misallocations

YOUR PROFILE

:

Bachelors or Master's degree in Controlling or Finance
Minimum of 12 years of experience in Finance of international hotel chain
Shared Service and General Ledger Accounting experience is a plus
Excellent knowledge in Excel. Knowledge of IFRS is a plus
Good knowledge of Planning tools & Budget process (LucaNet required, Fairmas is a plus)
Knowledge of ERP systems (AX Dynamics)
Analytical thinking, energetic, pragmatic but with the right attention to detail, handson, team worker
Able to structure and prioritize big workload whilst working under high pressure
Very good oral and written communication skills in English and German, other European languages is a plus
