    About the role

    We are looking for a creative Junior Electrical Engineer:

    About your tasks

    • Support the hardware team developing electronics for charging stations
    • Design, production, test, debugging of prototype PCBAs and small parts
    • Creation and management of digital component libraries
    • Market and competitor analysis
    • Research into technical standards and norms
    • Research into components, testing and characterisation of available parts
    • Design and development of test equipment and production tooling
    • Benchmarking performance of new prototypes, devices and components

    About you

    • Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
    • 1-3 years experience in professional Electronics development environment (internship/placement/
      werkstudent positions are also valid)
    • Good theoretical knowledge of Electronics and underlying principles
    • Ability to work on breadboard/protoboard prototypes and bring up test devices quickly
    • Some experience with circuit design for mixed-signal systems
    • Some experience troubleshooting and debugging Electronic devices
    • Some experience of Schematic creation and PCB layout (in any software but Altium is best)
    • Experience using laboratory test equipment and tools (Soldering Iron, Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Data Loggers)
    • Creation of technical reports and analysis of experimental data using spreadsheets or basic programming tools
    • Experience reading and understanding technical documentation including datasheets, application notes, industrial and governmental standards, etc.
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to work well in a small team
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment
    • Commitment to safe working practices
    • Experience in Google Docs/Sheets/Slides or equivalent
    • Resident in Berlin or willing to relocate
