High Voltage Electrical Engineering (Internship or Working student contract)

Your function

EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on
Owner's Engineering to support the preparation, planning and implementation of high-voltage projects.

To achieve this, we are looking for a
motivated full-time intern/part-time working student to support the team.

Typical activities involve (but are not limited to):

Extend/develop the technical and project management database of the OE Team
Assist with the development and design of basic concept engineering drawings using MS Visio or Autocad
Provide support on the preparation of proposals, acquisition of projects
Assist in the reviewing of high voltage (HV) equipment documentation and wiring manuals
Provide support with the documentation management

Your profile

Currently pursuing a Master's degree or the end of a bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, with a specialisation in electric power systems;
Motivated quicklearning team player with high analytical and transversal abilities;
Good understanding of highvoltage electric power technology and ideally HV substation primary and secondary technology;
Experience with MS Office and MS-Visio, knowledge of Autocad or Engineering base (Aucotec) would be an asset;
Interest in solving problems and taking on new challenges;
Fluent in English and in German;
Knowledge of Arabic, and/or French is a strong asset.

6 months duration min.
37h/week for interns;

- up to 20h/week for working students;

The opportunity to quickly take responsibility and leverage your knowledge and skills, to get handson project experience in the planning and implementation of High Voltage AC Substations, HVDC Converter Stations and Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOM);
