Job Description:

Purpose of the Role


GfK's suite of Market Intelligence (MI) solutions are providing manufacturers, distributors and retailers with the ability to measure performance, identify opportunities and implement smarter and faster decisions across the areas of product, price, place and promotion.

The Global MI Sales team is responsible for defining the go to market aspects of these solutions and supporting our teams across 60 countries worldwide to maximize our reach and value to our clients.

The Global Sales Expert Lead role for Online Intelligence is responsible for our suite of Online Intelligence partner solutions.

Together with the VP Global MI Sales, this role is responsible for defining the strategy and ensuring we execute against it to achieve the business targets.

This includes ownership - in collaboration with our client Account Managers - of high priority pitches and opportunities up to successful conversion.

The role also includes sales enablement, ensuring the Account Managers responsible for selling are supported with relevant tools, sales templates and processes to sell through value-based selling approach.

This role also extends to working together with solution partners to ensure solution development is meeting with client needs.

You will...

  • Together with the Vice President of Global MI Sales responsible to define the Global Strategy for GfK's suite of Online Intelligence solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact within GfK for Online Intelligence suite, able to troubleshoot and support the sales organization on an ongoing basis
  • Defining and aligning region/country targets for Online Intelligence suite.
  • Ownership of agreed high priority client opportunities to support with our Online Intelligence suite. Working in collaboration with GfK Strategic Account Managers and our solution partner to ensure effective and expanding support to our clients from our Online Intelligence suite. Flagging and addressing potential barriers to support.
  • Utilize and develop global network within high priority clients to maximize our support
  • Be an expert in sales of Tech & Durables goods through Online Channels
  • Together with Global Learning ensure relevant and impactful internal training program in place to empower the community of Account Managers on Online Intelligence suite.
  • Own the Online Intelligence sale enablement tools, assets and processes. Ensuring they remain relevant and provide bestinclass approach to support account managers with sales enablement and excellence.
  • Own GotoMarket Campaign/s for Online Intelligence solutions including planning and development of enablers. Working together with Global Marketing to support in asset development and deployment.
  • Report into and support the VP Global MI Sales with the progression of Online Intelligence.
  • Working together with our key solution partner/s and with our Product organisation ensure the solution development is aligned with client needs to maximise the support we are providing. Taking lead role to support business in decisions making on rollout and prioritization.
  • Continuously invest in your own skills development through undertaking GfK Global Learning programs. Utilize and reflect learnings in scaled tools, templates and gotomarkets approaches

  • Client focused. Proficient in identifying, exploring and communicating client needs, converting into appropriate research solutions that enable client growth.
  • Experienced in the Research Industry with proven record on client account management
  • Effectively driven the rollout and evolution of new insight solutions to provide longterm and sustainable business growth
  • Established and owned relationships with external partners
