Key Accountabilities

Independent preparation of electronic import and/or export declarations via ATLAS, practical experience required
Observance of export control regulations (e.g. embargoes/dualuse/compliance)
Preparation of the necessary documents for shipping and customs clearance in compliance with legal requirements (EUR.1; ATR; T2L)
Independent classification of new products into the customs tariff
Correspondence with customs authorities
General commercial activities and invoicing to our customers.
Contact person for internal and external customers in customs related inquiries

Qualifications

Commercial training, preferably as a forwarding agent or comparable training
Several years of professional experience in customs clearance or as a customs declarant
Good knowledge of the Customs Code, ZK-DVO, UZK and the most important foreign trade regulations
Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
Good office skills and experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP and ATLAS software
Your profile is rounded off by an engaging and confident manner
