Your tasks:

Conception, implementation, analysis, interpretation and publication of independent and innovative research in the field of interaction design for humanAI cooperation with the aim of a PhD.
Working in a research project on collaboration with AIbased system at work, in an interdisciplinary team. The project will examine how a cooperation between humans and algorithmic agents can and ought to be designed.

Potential designs will be examined with regard to three potentially competing objectives:
performance, satisfaction and accountability.

Supporting teaching in the field of humancomputer interaction
Teaching duties: initially 4 semester hours per week

Your profile:

Very good Master's degree in computer science, humancomputerinteraction, or related degree
Very good knowledge in the field of humancomputer interaction
Very good knowledge of scientific methodology (qualitative, quantitative)
Good prototyping experience
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, and good knowledge or willingness to learn German
Previous experience with scientific writing is desirable, e.g., in the form of publications
Willingness to perform, ability to work in a team, communicative and organizational skills
