    Head of Sub Section - Reinsurance P&C Technical Team (m/f/d)

    The section IT Business Solutions Reinsurance P&C delivers business value through management of IT products. This includes the execution of projects, and delivery of agile IT product management, application development and IT operational support.

    The product and project portfolio of IT Business Solutions Reinsurance P&C covers all underwriting & pricing solutions for all Reinsurance LoB (w/o L/H) globally as well as the solutions for Claims Management.

    To complement our team of recognized IT experts, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual.

    You will be heading the sub section Reinsurance P&C Technical Team and report to the Global Head of Business Solution Reinsurance P&C.

    You with your team are responsible to deliver the technical architecture and all common modules and DevOps services for the project and product portfolio of the whole section.

    Technical complexity is reduced through common secure, standardized and compliant delivery platform that allows product teams to focus on business functionality.

    You are a leading expert in your team.

    Disciplinary and functional management of a team of highly qualified and motivated IT experts
    ~Working together with your team in a matrix organisation with the other sub-sections to deliver the projects and products of the section.
    ~Manage, grow and develop the team in the way of continuous conversations
    ~Leading and living the software development lifecycle process for your portfolio based on MR Essentials 2.Several years of experience in software development as a developer and architect and hence in-depth knowledge of the processes of the entire software development and product life cycle

    ~ Strong analytical and conceptual skills – experience in large business application development projects as Senior Architect or Lead Design Role.
    ~Deep technical knowledge in Cloud Technologies, in particular based on Microsoft Azure, .Net based architectures, web-based systems, service-oriented architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints.
    ~Team-building abilities and strong skills in the management of internal and external interfaces, also in an international context
    ~Highly developed leadership qualities and management experience
    ~High level of service and client focus, aspiration of co-creation and experience in stakeholder management
    ~Ideally excellent command of German and English and willingness to travel
    ~"Cultural awareness" and willingness to work in an international and diverse team
