Your tasks

Global Demand & Supply Balancing Tires located in Hanover-Stöcken is responsible to ensure an efficient and effective intercontinental supply planning and execution within the worldwide Continental network.

In this exciting environment, we are offering an internship with an immediate start date which should last at least 6 months in order to ensure an optimal learning experience.

Your tasks will include the following activities:

Run your own small Project/optimization action (Identify improvement area or take up ongoing improvement actions)
Contribution to a variety of Project parts in the area of the global SC optimization
Support in daily supply chain operations area with focus on inventory and coverage analysis
Independently work in the weekly and monthly supply chain reporting
Supply Chain KPI monitoring & further development considering new methods/technologies in digitalization and data processing (e.g. Power BI)

Profile:

Student (M/F/diverse) in Business Economics or similar field of study
Ideally, main focus on Supply Chain Management / Logistics / IT
Basic experience in PowerBI (KNIME as benefit)
Confident handling of MS Officeprograms
Very good English and German skills, written and spoken
Analytical thinking and understanding of numbers
Enthusiasm, Flexibility, Creativity
Quick perception
Selfemployed working behaviour
