Your responsibilities:

Close work with the architect and technical leads of the customer to define the platform architecture for an enterprisewide data platform on Azure
Platform development (multitenant platform)
Creating standard templates to spin up platform modules / workspaces
Implementation of networking, deployment pipelines
Setup of tenant internals (subscriptions, resource groups, etc.)

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:

Successfully completed studies in the field of (business) computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a comparable course of study
Proven experience as an Azure Architect or similar role, with a deep understanding of Azure services and solutions
Excellent conceptual knowhow with architectural paradigms (especially Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, Data Mesh)
Good knowhow in the relevant platform services (Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning, Event Hubs, IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, Function Apps, Purview, Key Vault, Monitor, Defender, Policies)
Basic knowhow in crosscutting topics like networking, Data Governance, security
Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice-To-Have:

Fluency in written and spoken German
Manufacturing/ automotive knowhow
