Beschreibung

The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative support services to the Referral Management Center at the 52 Medical Group Unit 3865 at the Medical Treatment Facility.

The specialist will be responsible for coordinating referral management functions, coordinating specialty care referrals, reviewing and tracking referrals, participating in customer service improvement, managing communication between beneficiaries and team members, orienting new personnel to the RMC, and preparing and submitting administrative reports.


Responsiblities:


  • Coordinate referral management functions and ensure team members receive necessary information in a timely and efficient manner
  • Coordinate specialty care referrals in MTF or Host Nation
  • Review specialty care referrals for appropriateness of medical facility, covered benefits, and administrative completeness
  • Maintain and track referral records
  • Participate with team members in providing, assessing, and improving customer services/relations
  • Assist in the management of communication between beneficiaries, team members, internal staff and providers, network, and outside providers, and ancillary health care workers
  • Orient new personnel to the RMC team
  • Prepare and submit administrative reports.
  • Possess knowledge of general medical ethics, health records administration, telephone etiquette, office management methods, and excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Understand the importance of deadlines and have knowledge of coding (desirable, but not required).

Requirments:


  • Proficiency in English and German language skills (reading, speaking, and writing)
  • Experience in administrative support and customer service
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and appointment scheduling software
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Training in Microsoft Windows and Excel
  • Current Basic Life Support Training certification as required by the MTF.

Working Hours:


The specialist will be required to work between the hours of Monday through Friday, except on federal holidays or when the facility is closed.

Part-time hours: 28.5 per week

Pay: 12.00€ per hour
