Function:

Purpose of the role:

The Solution Architect Workplace supports demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of the projects.

You ensure solutions are compatible with the existing (technical) architecture and are compliant with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability.

The Solution Architect ensures quality and consistency with template design for deployments, monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in Workplace area.

You proactively seek continuous business and service improvement opportunities (cost and performance).

You influence others regarding the role and relevance of Solution Architecture in the business and Identify opportunities to build cross-functional working relationships including external parties.

The Solution Architect works closely with the Enterprise Architect and Head of IT Infrastructure to produce roadmaps and align on strategy and direction.

Responsibilities:

Identification and assessment of new and emerging technologies, products, methods and techniques for the Workplace area in conjunction with the enterprise architect.
Performs impact assessments on business demand and highlevel requirements to uncover and mitigate gaps.
Translates business demand into (detailed) requirements and appropriate solutions within the Workplace area. Works on developing Proof of Concepts and Pilots.
Develops detailed project charters and project start architectures for our Investment Portfolio, through interaction with the Enterprise Architect, Delivery Manager and Local IT Manager.
Maintains and builds on these relationships to help improve the quality and relevance of the projects being developed.
Reviews the services maturity for the Workplace Services area and proposing initiatives to improve the service.
Ensures solutions are compatible with the existing (technical) architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability and establish.
Support in fixing critical / difficult incidents.

Job Requirements:

You are Fluent in English, and you have a EU resident or you are in possession of a long-term Dutch or German residence and working permit.

Master / Bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study or a comparable IT education with around 810 years of experience in the IT sector including 5+ years in Microsoft Windows Workplace (Lifecycle) Management, Mobile Operating Systems, Azure, Active Directory and Software Assets (Delivery) Management and related areas.
Experience with cloud identity solutions including Active Directory Federation Services and Azure Active Directory.
Experience with Microsoft Software Assets (Delivery) Management tooling (Endpoint Manager, Intune, and Microsoft Business Store).

Broad knowledge and experience of architecture, IT security, technology platforms and business domains, Service Management, Project experience and relevant experience in functional domain.
