Join a dynamic team of 7 fantastic individuals at J.W. Ostendorf We are currently seeking a Logistics Specialist to be based in Coesfeld, Germany.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing logistics operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage external warehouse, optimizing communication, costs, and processes.
  • Lead logistics projects and coordinate daytoday operations.
  • Develop and implement new IT and physical logistics processes.
  • Drive Hempel's values and promote employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and service levels.
  • Continuously improve service and operational efficiency while managing costs.
  • Foster positive collaboration within the operational teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate claims and returns processes to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Key Tasks:

  • Coordinate with demand planning and warehouse providers for inventory management and logistics planning.
  • Manage daytoday logistics operations, including special transports and quality checks.
  • Optimize inventory management and oversee launches and relaunches.
  • Plan and implement customer deliveries via various routes and modes of transport.
  • Manage customer web portals and implement logistic and IT processes for new customers.
  • Handle logistics tendering, invoice management, pallet management, and service level agreements.
  • Implement logistics CAPEX projects and manage customs procedures for international shipments.
  • Use SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous substance and dangerous goods regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of relevant professional experience Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software's. Fluency in German and English; French language skills desirable. Solid communication and collaboration skills. Organizational, planning, and analytical abilities. Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment. Good digital literacy including MS Office (Excel) proficiency. Demonstrated experience in warehouse and transport logistics.
