As Art Director, is it your responsibility to manage an art team towards the delivery of visuals that stay true to the beloved Age of Empires II gaming experience.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supervise and grow an existing team of creatives
- Define aesthetic vision and standards
- Review art assets for quality and continuity
- Create an environment where creativity can thrive and feedback is productive and welcomed
- Work with various internal and external collaborators and establish best practices for coordination and output
- Work with Studio Leadership to define a departmental vision
- At least 5 years of work experience in the games industry, with at least 3 years of experience as a Lead Artist, Art Director, or in a comparable role
- Experience in a Lead position and proven management skills to guide an artistic team
- Highlevel of artistic skill
- A deep understanding of various aspects of art, especially as it pertains to the games industry
- Experience working in multiple stages of game development production
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Knowledge and interest in global art history

Compensation
