Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly engaging and liaising with development and technology teams across the organisation to address identified security issues, challenges, managing expectations, resolving issues and conflicts, and providing demonstrative examples to improve risk understanding with stakeholders

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Good technical understanding and experience of authentication and security mechanisms e.g., OAuth, SAML, APIs, TLS/SSL, Cipher suites, etc.
  • Experience of driving, supporting, and helping to implement secure development practices into software development lifecycles (S-SDLC) in development/engineering teams
  • Experience assessing the security of containers and Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (such as, Java, Python, C#, Ruby, etc.)
  • Good and effective verbal and written communication skills and a good standard of technical writing
  • Familiarity with Agile continuous improvement methodology.
  • Familiarity with leading international securityrelevant standards such as ISO27001, NIST, SOC2, Cyber Essentials, etc.
