About You and this Role
The Financial Accountant will report to the Senior Financial Manager and work with the team to accomplish interdepartmental goals.

Key Objectives

• Management of Accounts receivable process, including issuing of sales invoices, cash collections & the use of Salesforce
• Preparation of month end, quarter end and year end close together with variance analysis
• Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Monthly update of cash flow forecasts
• Project work on group level
• Assist with Group Audit process
• Preparation of VAT returns and support with tax compliance requirements including Transfer Pricing documentation
• Experience of Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Management & implementation of an expense tool/process
• Work closely with finance professionals in other regions
• Ensure that all accounting procedures comply with applicable law and overall objectives
• Demonstrate competency in complex accounting issues

Required Qualification

• Experience with German Accounting is required
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) "Bilanzbuchaltung" qualification is highly desirable
• 12 years post qualification experience in industry
• Excellent team player who is very comfortable working as part of a team and working with professionals in different locations
• Detail orientation and exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to drive for continuous improvement
• Experience in intercompany transactions
• Experience with Microsoft Navision preferred
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English and fluent in German required
