IMAGO is a leading image & video provider for media, brands & sports, based in Berlin.

On our website, we offer over 240 million pictures and videos in sports, editorial, archive, and creative to our more than national & international top clients for their editorial & commercial projects.

To strengthen our webshop and thus, our product, we are looking for a proactive Technical SEO Specialist, with a passion for tech.

We are looking immediately for our team in Berlin.

Tasks

Develop a successful SEO strategy for global market outreach
Drive onpage and offpage optimization initiatives for our web offer
Improve IMAGO's global ranking in organic search and image search for relevant keywords
Analyze and optimize our website from a technical SEO point of view (page architecture, linking, speed, ability to be crawled) in cooperation with our IT department
Support the conceptualization and creation of SEOrelevant landing pages
Generate market insights and competitor analyses, independently monitor online activities and actively develop suggestions for continuous improvement
Constantly expand your knowledge of relevant specialist areas and technologies

Requirements:

Good technical knowledge, especially for HTML/CSS/JS, with an emphasis on how they impact SEO performance and a strong understanding of onpage ranking efforts
Experience in handling large amounts of data (data preparation, index management, performance control,...) for SEO
Experience in technical SEO for E-Commerce, platform, or comparable business models
Experience in prerendering concepts and implementation (dynamic/serverside) in connection with React
Knowledge of SEO optimization for different markets, countries, and languages is a plus

- basic technical knowledge of servers & networks

Confident in handling common web analyses and campaign tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search-Console, SEOrelevant tools)
Handson mentality and strong ability to work structured and independently
Very good English skills, German is a plus but not required
