Job Description:


  • Job Purpose
  • Manage the design, deployment and delivery of highly complex projects and programs (determined by budget, timeline, urgency and stakeholder) providing IT solutions that meet business requirements
  • Direct project / program teams (internal and external) and maintain control of progress, quality, and budget to meet the desired business objectives
  • Setup and run all project / program related meetings and maintain the record of actions, decisions, issues, risks and act the primary point of contact for all project / program related escalations
  • Act as the liaison between the business and IT stakeholders and coordinate activities that require cross functional collaboration
  • Ensure a smooth transition to operations and the optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with a release
Major Accountabilities- Manage the delivery of internal and outsourced projects and programs, from initiation until transition to operations

  • Monitor and control project / program execution, establish governance, manage risks and issues.
  • Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools and practices
  • Deliver projects / programs on time and within budget and to meet the desired business objectives.
  • Alternatively, may support the provision of services that contribute to managing the enterprise IT project portfolio, including development and implementation of project management standards and training, portfolio reporting and analytics, project management resourcing services, etc.
  • Provide transparent and accurate project / program reporting including overall performance of the project / program and respective documentation completion
  • Own project / program status, issues and risks through appropriate channels / tools and ensures that these are reported back to agreed governance bodies (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.
  • Accountable to ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams, technology Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the project / program

Minimum Requirements:


  • Education:
  • Master of Science degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science or related field
  • Certification in and/or experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies is a plus
  • Certification or accreditation in project management methods (Agile, ITIL, Prince 2, PMI) is a plus

Languages:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Skills:


  • Experience with change management through process engineering and/or participating in largescale IT change / transformation programs
  • Experienced in guiding and developing teams across wide geographies & in collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to align a strategic IT service portfolio with business needs.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills to present features and solution recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Experiences:

  • At least 10 years of experience in IT project and program management
  • Experience in running multiyear, global ERP implementation programs is a plus
  • Experience Analyzing stakeholder requirements, Organizing and planning, Managing across functions and boundaries, Aligning people and resources, Timely decision making, High Quality Financial and Management Reporting, Organizing and planning, Problem solving, Managing budgets
  • Experience with multiple frameworks including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches
  • Solid technical background with handson experience in an IT organization
